May 12 2013 Added image titles and alt text to images. This improves accessibility and hopefully improves search results as well, especially for people searching images.
May 15, 2013 Added some scripting to the blog template so that the post title appears first in SERP, followed by the blog name. Previously, the blog name was first.
May 19, 2013 Figured out how to submit the entire sitemap to Google Webmaster Tools rather than only the most recent 26 posts that appears in Blogger's robots.txt sitemap by default...

Dec. 15, 2014 I published my 2nd eBook today! You can read it free here on Penny Pincher Journal in your web browser, or you can get a free download in your favorite eBook format or PDF file format. I decided to publish this book for free to give everyone a chance to read it.
Dec. 27, 2014 Added home pages for both Penny Pincher Journal and Coffee Maker Journal blogs. Until now, the most recent post was shown. Now a "welcome" post is shown that includes an introduction to the blog, popular articles, and popular posts. This should make it easier for new visitors to start exploring.
Jan. 3, 2015 Increased body font size from 12 to 16 on all of my blogs. I think this makes it easier to read and is more consistent with other blogs and websites with lots of traffic.
May 5, 2015 After a brief experiment adding Propeller Ad Network to a few posts, decided to remove the Propeller Ads and also removed Chitika Ads. I decided there were just too many ads and decided to cut back.
May 23, 2015 OK... Chitika and Propeller ads are back, and I also added an Amazon ad in the sidebar. I like making money as much as the next guy, maybe more! However, I decide to have all the ads on the sidebar. I think what was bothering me before was that I had ads in main page and this was too distracting.

May 19, 2013 Noticed that Dr. Penny Pincher's face stopped appearing in search engine results pages. Tried changing the profile photo in Google plus from 2246 x 1943 pixels to 250 x 250 pixels.
May 25, 2013 Dr. Penny Pincher's face is back in SERPs. Not sure if changing the size of the profile picture helped or not. Reports indicate that the authorship picture comes and goes for a number of reasons...
